Allen initially studied civil engineering before switching to HR where he developed his career with Honeywell, Kodak, Hotpoint, Costain Construction, ICI and the Imperial Tobacco Group where he trained as a Consultant at Bradford University. HR Director positions followed with Golden Wonder and British Sugar.  Degree in Maths, Fellow of CIPD and Member of the Institute of Directors.

Over 20 years senior management experience in marketing, sales and general management with Coca-Cola (where Gareth was responsible for devising and launching 'Lilt'), WH Smith, Sodastream (joined as Product Manager and rose to become International Managing Director), Crayola (Commercial Director responsible for the UK and Europe) and the Rank Organisation (again, Commercial Director responsible for a £180m turnover subsidiary). Degree in Business Studies and a Diploma in Management Studies. Member of the Institute of Directors. Joined HRE in 1996.

Following a successful career with Imperial Tobacco Plc (sales, national accounts and training) Paul joined the Food Manufacturing sector in 1986 at Padleys Poultry as General Manager Food Service Division which he founded and developed into a premier supplier of added value menu solutions to the 'eating out of home' sector. He was most recently responsible for founding and developing the Foodservice division of Geest Plc where he was Director of Foodservice, responsible for sales, product development, marketing and logistics to the major restaurants and catering groups. Within his wealth of knowledge he specialises in food manufacturing assignments (primarily but not exclusively commercial) and in the fast growing Foodservice sector. Paul can seek out and find talent in all disciplines. Over recent years Paul has been a Consultant Director with HRE and has place executives at all levels both within our range of operating sectors - not just food.

Liz started her career with Rolls-Royce as a Management Development Manager. From there she became HR Director for GEC McMichael before moving to Deloitte Haskins & Sells/Price Waterhouse Coopers where she established and developed a Human Resources Group. Liz was then attracted to PA Consulting where she worked in both the public and private sectors. Several years followed as an Independent Consultant before she became HR Director for The Metro City Ltd. She has now re-established her consultancy career.  Liz has an Accountancy degree and an MBA from the Scottish Business School

Marjorie started her career in HR with Thomas Salter plc before becoming a Training & Development Manager with Halifax/Bank of Scotland. From here she established herself as an Independent Consultant and has worked for a significant number of blue chip companies. Marjorie has a BA degree in Art & Design, is a Member of the CIPD and an Accredited Assessor for the Institute of Management Consultants.

Martin has had a successful HR career working for a range of blue chip companies. He started with the Grand Metropolitan Group before moving into the Pharma sector with Beecham. Martin had a short spell with Cleanaway before joining Coca-Cola & Schweppes where he held several HR Manager positions. He then gained promotion by joining the Matthew Clark Group as Group HR Manager. Further promotion followed with Unilever and Birds Eye Walls where he headed Management & Leadership Development. Martin recently established himself as in Independent Consultant.  Martin has a BA degree and is a Member of the CIPD.
